Career Day

Since the establishment of the "Career Planning and Alumni Unit" began supervisors and workers in determining visions and draw the basic features of their plans, which must be in line and consistent with the objectives of the faculty strategy. In this regard, event was held "Career Day" under the patronage of His Excellency the Director of King Abdulaziz University Prof. Osama S. Tayyeb, which comes within the framework of our quest to develop ways of fruitful cooperation and deepen the privileged partnership between the faculty and the private sector in order to provide job opportunities for graduates and contribute to the pumping of professionally qualified personnel for the labor market.

Faculty hosts corporate and private sector organizations to have the opportunity to meet with alumni and business personal interviews and hire the privileged elite of the sons of the Faculty of Economics and Administration.

Also hosts college both Labour Office, and Human Resources Development Fund, and the Chamber of Commerce as government agency contribution to the enrichment and activate "Career Day"; by stimulating the private sector to contribute to the promotion of Saudization and support national goals common to employ Saudi human resources and achieve competitive advantage for the national economy.

It also includes the activities of "Career Day" a number of lectures and seminars designed to educate students and graduates of the importance of the meeting and ways to take advantage of it and means engaging graduate in the labor market and setting standards adopted by companies to hire graduates; also aims on the other hand to stimulate companies and the private sector to employ graduates from corporate social responsibility in the private sector.

First Career Day:

Career Day was set up in the lobby of the faculty in the second semester of the academic year 1430/1431 AH Saturday and Sunday 15-16/6/1431AH sponsored by the Rector, the following facts:

Second Career Day:

Career Day has held for the second time and for the second year in a row in the academic year 1431 - 1432 AH and that were on 11-12 Jumada Alakra 1432AH corresponding to 14 to 15 May 2011AD in the lobby of the faculty, which assemble a number of companies and prestigious institutions and was attended by the faculty students (Male and Female) in tow separated galleries, where involved companies have competed in providing career opportunities for graduates, and the offer of incentives offered to its employees in order to earn the elite Special graduates from the Faculty of Economics and Administration.

Third Career Day:

Career Day Series have Continued for the third year in a row, where third career day were held in the daily 7-8 Jumada Alakra 1433 corresponding May 28 to 29, 2012 AD, the presence of a number of prestigious companies and institutions that provide the best career opportunities for graduates.
Lasted two days after the events associated with the day of the profession in the next day, where Mr. Ziad Al-Bassam, Vice Chairman of Jeddah Chamber of Commerce, gave a lecture to students urging them ways on livelihoods including the adoption of special initiatives and the establishment of independent projects, as well established on (female section) course entitled "Reach Your success discovering yourself " joint between Professor: Rania safety and Ms.: Nora Shaaban.

Fourth Career Day:

In order to consolidate a strong communication bridge between the faculty and companies on one hand and between the faculty and its graduates on the other hand, and a sincere desire of Career Planning and Alumni Unit to provide the appropriate career opportunities for faculty graduates. The Career Panning and Alumni Unit decided to establish Career Day for the fourth consecutive year in 1434 AH / 2013 AD, on 4-5 Jumada Alakra / corresponding to 14-15 / April, and the event will establish a lecture to students by His Excellency Dr. Sami Ben Baroum chairman of Knowledge Economics City in Medina, Which sheds light visions about the characteristics of workers to ensure their professional horizons broad.
