Academic Departments

History

The FEA community consists of ten departments employing some 242 full-time academic staff; 130 non-academic staff; approximately 20,000 undergraduate students of which 11,500 are full-time; state of the art infrastructure and learning facilities.

FEA academic staff is divided into the Professional Rank (Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors) and Non-Professorial Rank (Teaching Assistants and Lecturers). Faculty and students share in decision-making through a system of faculty-student policy-making and advisory committees. In addition, students control their own campus business through their Student Government body.

There are separate campuses for male and female students. Programs are organized into ten disciplines. The medium of instruction for the following seven disciplines is in English.

6. Management Information Systems

7. Marketing

The remaining three disciplines deliver their courses in Arabic. These include the following.
