The Faculty of Economics and Administration (FEA), at King Abdulaziz University (KAU), has established itself as one of the premier business schools of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East region.

The quality of FEA’s programs, faculty and teaching has been recognized by the top three international accreditation bodies in the world. FEA embarked on its accreditation journey with the purpose of ensuring that it was operating in alignment with global quality assurance benchmarks. By achieving these milestones, FEA has become the first business school in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to achieve triple international accreditation.

Association of MBAs (AMBA)

FEA received accreditation for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) programs by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) in 2010. The AMBA is a prestigious body based in London, United Kingdom, which prides itself on accrediting graduate programs from the top 2% of business schools across 70 countries world-wide. In 2015, the MBA and the EMBA programs received re-accreditation from AMBA which is evidence that FEA continued to its standards of high quality. We are proud to say that FEA received further re-accreditation in 2018, strengthening our revolve to continue upon a path of excellence and distinction.

Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)

The FEA, at the institution level, was awarded an institutional accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) in 2015. The AACSB, based in the United States of America, is regarded as the benchmark for business education in academic spheres. The FEA’s tireless efforts to improve quality and comply with academic standards resulted in adding this impressive accreditation to its portfolio.

Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME)

In 2012, FEA also become a signatory to the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). The PRME is an initiative sponsored by the United Nations Global Compact to ensure the provision of responsible management education, research and thought leadership globally. FEA’s commitment to PRME is reflected in all initiatives and endeavors, including but not limited to, its values, curriculum content, research and partnerships.

These achievements have been a result of the strategic direction provided by the top leadership, and the unrelenting efforts of the members of the FEA to ensure that it becomes the leading business school in the Kingdom and the Middle East.

Beta Gamma Sigma – King Abdulaziz University chapter

Beta Gamma Sigma, the national honor society for business students in AACSB-accredited schools, and as of July 23, 2019, the FEA became the 608th chapter in the world. The top 10% of seniors and juniors and the top 20% of master’s students in the last half of their program are invited to join each year. In 2019, 20 students were inducted into the FEA’s chapter of the BGS at a formal induction ceremony.

Beta Alpha Psi – King Abdulaziz University chapter

Beta Alpha Psi is an international honor organization for accounting, finance, and information systems majors. Further, in July 2019, the FEA submitted an application to establish a chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, which was approved in August 2019 such that there is now an FEA chapter included in the chapter reporting system for Beta Alpha Psi.
