Academic Biography:

Dr. Ali Muhsan Shaddady is an assistant professor in finance at King AbdulAziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He received a PhD. in Finance from the Brunel University London in 2017. His master’s degree in Finance is from Newcastle University, Australia. He earned his BA degree from King Khalid University. He aims to provide excellent teaching and high quality globally recognized research.

  • Best Paper Award, ‘Do financial regulations enhance or impede Semi-Oriented Radial Measure (SORM) operational efficiency banks? Evidence across countries and economic bloc’ by Brunel Research Student Conference, May 2016 . Also, The Paper and the poster was chosen by the Vice-Dean, Research, for the purpose of presentation at the CBASS Research Day, 9 June 2016.
  • Bachelor degree Grade with the Second Class honor

Research Interests:

  • My Research areas of interest rely within, corporate financing policy including capital structure and dividends, banking and Islamic banking, initial public offerings and financial shocks.
