Academic Biography:

Dr. Khan has 24 years of Post PhD experience of teaching, training and research in HRM. Prior to joining KAU, he has taught under the umbrella of Department of Management at Sultan Qaboos University, Oman. He also served as Associate Professor and Head of Business Studies at Mazoon University College, Muscat, Oman for five years. After completing his Ph.D. from Banaras Hindu University, India in 1993, Dr. Khan started his career from Shri Ram Centre for Industrial Relations and Human Resources, New Delhi as Assistant Professor and has also taught at IILM, New Delhi, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Staff Training College, New Delhi is also on his list of institutions where he has taught.

  • Ph.D. (Labour & Social Welfare/HRM)- 1993 from Banaras Hindu University, India.

Achievements:

  • Best Paper Award: A paper, “CSR and HRM: Learning from a Saudi Bank” presented at ICEMM 2014 Conference, Toronto, Canada was chosen as the Best Paper.
  • Felicitated for my research contribution for consecutive years 2013 and 2014 by the FEA, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah.
