Academic Biography:

Dr.Sabah Abdullah Al-Somali is an assistant professor in Management Information Systems Department. Her current research interests are open source software, cloud computing, Green IT/IS, e-government and IT Adoption. She has published a pronounced number of articles in refereed journals and has presented numerous papers at international conferences worldwide.

  • Wining researcher of the BAE Systems post-doctoral summer research for 2014 and 2016.
  • Summer research grants from King Abdul Aziz City of Science & Technology (KACST) under National Program for Science and Technology (Strategic Technologies) for 12 weeks at Aston University, UK, 2014
  • Research Excellence Award from the faculty of economics and administration, King Abdul-Aziz University, 2015.
  • Excellence in Teaching Award for undergraduate program, faculty of economics and administration, King Abdul-Aziz University, 2014
